Cameroon are KAFCON 2026 champions

Cameroon are the 2026 Korea Africa Cup of Nations champions, edging holders South Africa 1–0 in the final at Poseung.

Their route ran through a 1–0 quarter-final over Guinea and a stunning 5–0 semi-final against Ghana, while South Africa needed a marathon 10–9 shootout to get past Kenya and then beat Nigeria 1–0 in the semis. Nigeria took third place with a 1–0 win over Ghana.
